“As she expressed it, "What do we do now? What do we do? How can we get a handle on not only our community but ourselves?" Having asked this basic question, she volunteered her response:
I could only answer from my own experience, that is, I had to face the question of what am I here for, what is my work in this world, do I have a gift that is essentially me? Not what does anybody else expect of me. Not what does this other community need. No, the wrong ques-tions. What is that essential seed inside me that speaks to creativity and birth and continuance? And once you identify that, you will see what to do. And my own belief is that everybody has that. But their belief in human nature is not always that strong-which is part of the problem.”
