Crowfoot (Isapo-Muxika), a prominent Blackfoot leader, was a warrior, orator, and negotiator known for his peacemaking efforts and role in Treaty 7. Born in the 1830s near the Belly River in present-day Alberta, he became a head chief and played a key role in negotiations between the Blackfoot and the Canadian government.
